Why Progress Can Feel Slow

04/15/26 - Presented by Meredith Cohen, OT, OTR/L

Titled Why Progress Can Feel Slow, this session explored a topic that resonates deeply across the brain injury community. Recovery often unfolds differently than expected, and it can feel frustrating, confusing, and at times discouraging.

Meredith shared her perspective as a clinician, offering insight into why progress may feel slower than anticipated, along with practical ways to stay encouraged through the process. Designed for survivors, caregivers, and clinicians, the session included real-world strategies, space for shared experiences, and a live Q&A following the presentation.
